Our dedicated Youth Sailing schemes offer a safe and fun environment for children to learn and challenge themselves. Children can progress quickly from complete beginners to competent sailors.
Nothing compares to being out on the water and in control of your own boat! It boosts confidence and independence. It gives you a sense of freedom, unmatched by most sports.
We have two courses to start you off.
Suitable for children aged 8 to 13 (contact us if you are slightly older).

RYA Youth Stage 1 Curriculum: After these two days of sailing sessions, students will be able to steer the boat and understand basic principles of sailing. | RYA Youth Stage 2 Curriculum: After these two days of sailing sessions, students will be able to rig their boat, launch and sail it with control and confidence. |

Safeguarding Notes:
Parents are required to remain on site for all children of primary school age.
The changing rooms and toilet facilities are open to the public and all other users of Llandegfedd Activities. We do not have control of this. If you are not happy with your child of any age using these facilities alone, please remain on site to accompany them.
Please note the Sailing Club are not part of Dwr Cymru Welsh Water or Llandegfedd Activities.
